1- O3 decreases inflammation. Swelling, bruising, infection, cancer and other traumas release high amounts of carbon dioxide (C02) into the tissue. This causes inflammation and secondary pain. Increasing the amount of oxygen delivered to the tissue in the form of reactive ozone decreases the C02 and therefore reduces swelling and pain, and promotes healing.

2- O3 activates the immune system. 3- O3 boosts skin repair and elasticity. The increased oxygenation through Ozone Therapy jump-starts cell production & growth, promoting recovery from UV damage, fungal trauma, and bacterial lesions. This rapid growth also speeds the healing of wounds. The additional antioxidant properties can also increase production of collagen & elastin; naturally-occurring protein fibers found in connective tissues.

3. O3 literally “deactivates” disease. Bacteria, viruses, fungi, yeast and protozoa lack the protective enzymatic coatings that “good” cells have. The bacterial cell envelope degrades through oxidation of the phospholipids and lipoproteins (peroxidation). In viruses, this peroxidation disrupts the reproductive cycle and damages the viral capsid. The spare oxygen atoms in the ozone attach to the cell walls of these harmful microorganisms and essentially pull them apart.
